Drone Regulations in Albania: Albania has become an increasingly popular destination among the tourists in recent years. However, from a drone-operation perspective, it is important to note that Albania is not an EU Member State. Therefore, EU/EASA rules do not automatically apply in the same way as they do in countries such as Italy or Croatia.
✅ Yes. Albania permits recreational drone operations, provided that pilots comply with the requirements of the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority (AAC). EU operator registration and an A1/A3 competency certificate may be helpful, but they do not automatically replace Albanian requirements.
